We are seeking a Head of Soccer to oversee the development聽of the sport across all year levels. The successful applicant should present as聽a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, organised leader with a passion for Soccer and a demonstrated聽capacity to lead both coaches and students across all levels.
Working closely with the Director of Sport, the successful applicant will aim聽to maximise student engagement, develop coaches and improve team results for all soccer teams. The Head of Soccer will attend training sessions and games, providing leadership and a聽clear direction to coaches.
The successful applicant should have relevant experience and coaching accreditation in the聽relevant sport and a聽demonstrated capacity to plan for, implement and maintain high standards of consistent聽performance and engagement.
Prior successful experience in school sport programs will be highly regarded.
Please note that this is not a teaching position and that the successful candidate must be聽available for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday training sessions between the hours of 1.30pm - 3.30pm (for year level teams) and Saturday games between 8am and 12pm.聽聽Administrative and planning hours (outside of training / game sessions) will also be considered聽part of the role each week and will be paid accordingly.
The role includes:
鉂徛� 聽Advocacy for highest possible level of student engagement
鉂徛� 聽The promotion of coaching 鈥榖est practice鈥� across all coaches including regular feedback聽on coach performance
鉂徛� 聽Development and oversight of training plans for all teams
鉂徛犅� Creation of a plan for the future development and improvement of football (soccer)
Reporting to the Director of Sport, this is a varied and challenging role in a busy area of the聽School.聽聽An hourly rate commensurate with experience will be offered.聽聽The role has clearly defined working hours and weeks, commencing February聽2025
